Deposits are plain tax-free transfers. Withdrawals go through the broker wallet’s own owner check, so only whoever holds the NFT can move what’s on its desk. Which cuts both ways: the desk travels with the broker. Clear it before you sell, swap, or transfer the NFT, or its next owner inherits everything on it.
